04/23/2003 Entry: "Santorum is nuts"

"AP: I mean, should we outlaw homosexuality?

"SANTORUM: I have no problem with homosexuality. I have a problem with homosexual acts. As I would with acts of other, what I would consider to be, acts outside of traditional heterosexual relationships. And that includes a variety of different acts, not just homosexual. I have nothing, absolutely nothing against anyone who's homosexual. If that's their orientation, then I accept that. And I have no problem with someone who has other orientations. The question is, do you act upon those orientations? So it's not the person, it's the person's actions. And you have to separate the person from their actions."
Sen. Rick Santorum's comments on homosexuality in an AP interview, The Associated Press, Tuesday, April 22, 2003, SF Gate

What a lulu this guy is. Oh, and the interview goes on and on and just gets weirder.

I think the Senator needs to think less about "acts outside of traditional heterosexual relationships", no matter how much thinking about "acts outside of traditional heterosexual relationships" excites him. I mean, no one is asking him to take it up the ass, let alone think about it as much as he obviously is thinking about it.

Thanks, LJV, for the link.

You know what really gets me about this guy? His assumption that married heterosexual people don't practice sodomy or do any of the other things he mentions in that interview. He probably thinks oral sex is for perverts, too. I wish Boyd McDonald were still around to tell him just how many married straight men get blowjobs from and are fucked up the ass by happy gay men in public restrooms around the country.
