Okay, I don't disagree with this essay, but I utterly loathe the way it's written and it was a struggle to read it. Are there no other voices, adult, serious, profound yet, voices to say these things? Alternet does the Left a disservice when they publish a guy who thinks he's cute and probably reads these things in front of a mirror, just to get the full effect. I was annoyed and I'm a broad with a broad broad mind (not, however, published in Alternet).

But who is ever going to say these things in a deep enough voice to get everyone's attention before it's too late? I wonder.
