If he were alive today, and part of your family, he would be referred to as Uncle Jesus who's a bit 'different'." Okay. Maybe he's not the best the best example of red-hot heterosexuality.... "The Southern Baptist Convention announced a new initiative Tuesday to convince gays that they can become heterosexual if they accept Jesus Christ as their savior and reject their "sinful, destructive lifestyle." "At the denomination's annual meeting, leaders urged their more than 42,000 churches nationwide to reach out compassionately to gays with a message about how Christianity can save them. "'Homosexuals can find freedom from this sinful, destructive lifestyle,' said Richard Land, head of the Southern Baptists' public policy arm. 'They can be redeemed. They can be liberated.'" This would be the same Jesus who was a thirty-five year old virgin batchelor and hung out all the time with his twelve male friends. If he were alive today, and part of your family, he would be referred to as Uncle Jesus who's a bit "different". Replies: 1 Comment Who hasn't been reading their bible? In mine, Jesus is referred to as "Rabbi" and as I understand it, all Rabbis have to be married. Which raises the interesting possibility of Jesus having children.
