1. Via skimble, the American Family Association now charges $20 for a Marriage Defense Action kit. Anybody wanna buy some beachfront in Arizona? (As seen on Sisyphus Shrugged, where the fabulous Julia has more.)

2. Why does marriage, which has outlasted almost everything, need protection? I think the forces that keep marriage going are love and sex. I'm here to tell you, sex can mow down anything, mix in love and you have an unstoppable force. Why does such a brute need protection? It should be protecting us. ALL OF US.

3. If this marriage debate was about legalizing polygamy (but not polyandry), I wonder how it would be different?
