12/21/2003 Entry: "Kissinger Watch"

"J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. is relying on former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who arranged diplomatic relations between the United States and China in 1972, to help the No. 2 U.S. bank win a role managing a $5 billion overseas initial public offering by a Chinese financial institution, according to bankers familiar with the offering.

"The 80-year-old Kissinger, a 1973 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and chairman of New York-based Kissinger Associates, is a member of the international advisory board of J.P. Morgan. Citigroup, the largest U.S. bank by assets, is one of the four banks pitching for China Construction Bank's IPO."
Kissinger's Chinese links again at work, Bloomberg Business News, December 17, 2003

Just retire, Kissinger, you're 80. Haven't you done enough damage to the world?
