"There are those who claim the Democrats just love Clinton. Well, not all do - that is, the thinking ones with morals don't cling to his ankles. And for those, a Clinton/Clark clutch just won’t do anything worthy for the ballot box come November.

'. . . cling to his ankles.'? I'm not clinging to Clinton's ankles or any other part of him. I'm clinging to the memory of the 22 Million jobs created on his watch, which came on the heels of a fairly nasty Bush I recession in 1992. Cling to your morals, dude, but vote Dem next November, no matter who it is. Unless you're one of the 1% of the country's richest families, you'll suffer under another four years of bushco like the rest of us.

"Furthermore, for those astute in historical data, the Clinton/Clark duo doesn’t ring true. Clinton, Democratic President. Clark, registered Republican until recently, that is, when he entered the Democratic presidential run in September.

Which is a big clue on how bad things really are for him to come fight for our side.

"Liz Sidoti, AP writer, quotes Stephanie Cutter, Kerry spokeswomen: 'He shouldn't be able to wipe away that record with one photo op of him (Clark) and Clinton.'

I wasn't aware that that was the point of that photo. However, I'm sure Senator Kerry would like to find a photo op that would wipe away his vote for the Patriot Act I and the Iraq invasion.

In addition: 'Jay Carson, a Dean spokesman, said the ad ‘doesn't make up for a lifetime of voting Republican.'"

You know, if Clark, a military man, walked away from 'a lifetime of voting Republican', that ought to tell y'all how rotten to the core Republicans have become. We should be glad he's seen the light. We should welcome him to the side of people who think invading Iraq sucked and occupying Iraq sucks. People like Anthony Zini, Barbara Lee, Robert Byrd, the Pope, etc.

C'mon, America, setting fire to your ass is not going to make you warmer in winter. It doesn't have to be Clark, but it just can't be four more years of bushco.
