He describes the religious imagery common now in Fallujah and the Sunni triangle: 'There's talk of angels and the Prophet Mohammed coming down from heaven to lead the fighting, talk of martyrs whose bodies are glowing and emanating wonderful scents.'"

As someone recently said somewhere, Iraq is worse than Vietnam because we didn't know what we were getting into in Vietnam. Now we know, and we're still in Iraq. Also, the reason the Viet Cong ultimately won is because they knew what they were fighting for. In Iraq it's the same dog and it still hunts.
