Some Libertarians have intellectual integrity and a coherent world view, and despite some ideas about the inherent evils of the state that I do not share, actually believe in a little concept they call Freedom. Which is why Bob Barr, so comtemptable in most contexts, suddenly pops up in the oddest places defending our rights against Totalitarians like Ashcroft.

In a perfect world I would be a Libertarian. Unfortunately in the world we actually live in something called "Will to Power" and "Let grandma die of exposure because she can't pay rent" run roughshod over the ideals of big 'F' freedom.
