Paul Krugman did the same thing in today's NY Times, indicating that formerly pro-administration reporters and editors are suddenly saying what he said five years ago: that Bush is a fabulist who surrounds himself with toadies who tell him what he wants to hear, not what he needs to hear. "While I'm sure this won't penetrate the force field they've thrown up around themselves... Hey all you Bush supporters, how does it feel to be wrong. So very wrong. So absolutely positively wrongwrongwrongwrongwrong? "I remember reading someone's blog a week or so ago, where they made the point that the Boomers, despite all their high-flown aspirations and supposed social consciences, have never truly been tested. "Turns out it was a pop quiz." ...the Boomers, despite all their high-flown aspirations and supposed social consciences, have never truly been tested. Which made punk the only real option in the 70s because the hippies didn't leave us anything else. So don't expect the next Boomer wave, the Geezer wave, to leave anything in its wake either. The only consolation is that when that wave is over, all the Boomers will be dead. So there IS something to look forward to. Full disclosure: I was born in 1960, but never fit in. I will agree that you don't fit in but it is hard to believe from your photo that you are only 45 years old. Posted by don @ 10/16/2005 03:16 AM PST
