Y'know, it's probably healthy to hate Disney, Inc., but everyone must love TRON. Why did this film fail? Why? It's amazing, and even more amazing when you listen to the commentary on how it was made. I vividly remember seeing this on a huge screen when it came out and I was just hypnotized by it. I didn't know Mobius worked on it, which makes it even more fabu. Wendy Carlos did the music, which is very cool. (I think the composer for the Aeon Flux cartoons was very much inspired by this score, heh.) I might have to buy my own copy of this, if only because it reminds me of my youth (in a good way). Posted by GM Replies: 2 comments Thanks, Ginger, for the sugestion. I vaguely remember Tron from my youth, but has been so long, that I forget the details. Shall certainly add it to my Netflix list. Seth Posted by Seth Anderson @ 05/19/2006 08:52 PM PST Its all about timming, the film was ahead of its time and for the 1980's a movie talking about the dangers of technology and the perception of reality, it went over allot heads. Plus i dont think it was marketed correctly. Posted by David Arroyo @ 05/21/2006 09:00 PM PST
